Good morning everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
I woke up early this morning with the intention on getting some writing done. My wife had to work today but will be home with enough time to sit down and have a wonderful thanksgiving dinner. As I sit here with my novel up on my computer, I can’t help but stop to think of what I am thankful for. I understand that the internet will be bombarded today with thoughts of thanks, but I can’t help but to add to this, as I am feeling rather pensive. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive family. It has been snowing for almost two days here in Maine and I’m finding that all I want to do is snuggle up to my wife and watch a movie. With all four of the animals gathered at our feet. Life may be difficult, we may have money problems and we don’t get to see those we love nearly enough, but on a day like this with Loki, the Italian greyhound curled up at my feet and Bambina, the Maine coon, stretched out on my desk, I realize how lucky I am. Money means nothing, its the relationships with those we love and care about that mean everything.
I’m only at about 41,000 words so I better continue on.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Spend it with those you love!
